Frequently
Asked Questions

about Personalized Nutrition Services

fixed antonia
01. Will I be put on a strict diet or given a meal plan?
No. My approach is designed to help you move away from confusion and over-restriction—not add more rules.
Instead of rigid meal plans, we focus on:
• Building balanced meals that fit your lifestyle
• Simplifying nutrition so it feels manageable
• Adapting the foods you already enjoy
If helpful, I can provide recipes, meal ideas, and practical strategies that work for you and your family.
02.How do I get started?
Getting started is simple.
The first step is to book a free 15-minute introductory call. This gives us a chance to:
• Talk through your current concerns and goals
• Understand what feels confusing or overwhelming right now
• Determine if working together is the right fit for you
If it feels like a good fit, we’ll move forward with a comprehensive initial assessment.
Prior to your first session, you will be asked to complete a brief intake, including a Healthy Eating Index (HEI) questionnaire. This helps provide a clearer picture of your current eating patterns so we can focus on what matters most—without guesswork or unnecessary restriction.
From there, we’ll create a personalized plan that supports your health and fits into your life.
This process is designed to feel clear, supportive, and manageable from the start.
03. What can I expect in the first appointment?
Your first appointment is a 60-minute comprehensive nutrition assessment designed to bring clarity to what may currently feel confusing or overwhelming.
During this session we will:
• Review your medical history and health goals
• Explore current eating patterns and lifestyle habits
• Identify where nutrition can better support your health
Together, we will create clear, realistic next steps that feel manageable and aligned with your life.
04. How many sessions will I need?
This depends on your goals, health concerns, and the level of support you’re looking for.
Some clients benefit from a few focused sessions, while others prefer ongoing support to build confidence, reduce overwhelm, and create lasting change.
We will discuss a plan that fits your needs and lifestyle during your introductory call.

05. What types of appointments do you offer?
Appointments are available in several formats to support your comfort and lifestyle:
• Virtual appointments
• In-person visits
• Home visits
This flexibility allows for a more personalized, real-life approach to your care.
06. When is a home visit helpful?
Home visits can be especially helpful when:
• You prefer a more personalized, in-depth approach
• You are managing health concerns or changes in routine
• You have a busy schedule and value convenience
Home visits also allow me to better understand your kitchen environment, pantry, and daily routines—so recommendations feel realistic and easy to follow.
This can also support a more collaborative, whole-person approach to care over time.

07. What health conditions do you help with?
I support a range of health concerns, including kidney health, migraines, blood pressure management, cardiovascular health and more.
Many clients come to me feeling unsure what to eat, overwhelmed by conflicting advice, or disconnected from food after a diagnosis or health change.
My focus is not just on the condition—but on helping you simplify nutrition and feel confident in your day-to-day choices.
If you have a specific concern, we can discuss how nutrition support can be tailored to you.
08. Will I have to give up the foods I love?
No. Nutrition should not feel restrictive or take over your life.
My approach focuses on balance, flexibility, and sustainability. Instead of eliminating foods unnecessarily, we find ways to incorporate what you enjoy while still supporting your health—using evidence-based nutrition strategies that fit seamlessly into your life. If something doesn’t feel realistic, we adjust—so your plan actually works for you.
09. What does sensory-friendly mean?
A sensory-friendly environment is designed to reduce stimulation that may cause discomfort, particularly for individuals with migraines or sensory sensitivities.
I aim to create a calm, comfortable experience by offering:
• Dimmed lighting when needed
• A scent-free environment
• A low-stimulation setting
We can also choose the format that feels best for you—whether virtual, in-office, or another comfortable setting.
The goal is to create an environment where you feel at ease and supported.
10. Which Areas Do You Service?
Nutrition services are available to clients located in:
• Florida
• Ontario
• Alberta
Home visits are currently offered in Sarasota, Nokomis, Venice, Tampa, Lakewood Ranch, Longboat Key, and surrounding areas.
For clients who travel seasonally between Canada and Florida, continuity of care can be maintained across locations.
